East Liberty Town Square
East Liberty Town Square in front of East Liberty Presbyterian Church is a project lead by East Liberty Development, Inc. and designed my CH2MHIll and Viridian Landscape Studio. This pilot demonstration project was built to show that green infrastructure solutions are a viable alternative to expensive traditional infrastructure in solving the region’s combined sewer problem. Green infrastructure solutions like rain gardens and bioswales used here, can also serve as a public amenity, in this case a town square style public park.
