Company Profile

Eisler Landscapes, Inc. — where innovation meets tradition.

In 1926, John M. Eisler founded Eisler Nurseries which rapidly evolved into one of the region's foremost production nursery and landscape installation firms. By utilizing plant material grown on the nursery, Eisler defined the Pittsburgh landscape with the noted landscape installations of Mellon Park, Gateway Center, and the original plantings of Point State Park. Eisler also installed prestigious landscapes for the Mellon and Heinz families, B. D. Phillips Estate, and the John F. Kennedy White House swimming pool.

The current organizational structure of Eisler Landscapes, Inc. was formed after Eisler passed away in 1985. His granddaughter Sherry Kyne, who had occupied a growing role for some time, assumed control of the family business. Hiring three horticulturists, Sherry expanded the full service landscape contracting company, continuing the Eisler tradition.

The new team consisted of Sherry, CEO of Eisler Landscapes and President of Eisler Nurseries, Peter Kyne, Vice President of Eisler Nurseries, Eric French, President of Eisler Landscapes and Melissa Lim-French, Buyer and Estimator of Eisler Landscapes.

Today, Eisler Landscapes is the region's premiere landscape construction company. Our in-house design team, horticulturists, construction experts, and 250 acres of nurseries provide the highest quality expertise and services. Eisler Landscapes continues to define Pittsburgh's landscape with projects such as: The David Lawrence Convention Center Green Roof, Chatham University's Eden Hall Campus, the East Liberty Town Square, and the Aspinwall Riverfront Park. We are continuing our legacy of enhancing and beautifying the region we call home. At Eisler Landscapes, the tradition continues.
