When Fore Systems, Inc. built an avant-garde headquarters to convey their high tech, cutting edge image, landscaping was a big part of the plan. The sheer size of the site-three buildings, 100,000 square feet each, on 35 acres was a challenge: the plan costed out to double the budget. Working with the landscape architects, GWSM of Pittsburgh, we carefully scrutinized the unique design and recommened reductions in the volume of plantings without losing impact, which allowed us to cut costs by 40 percent!

3000 Ericsson Drive, Warrendale, PA 15086

The massive undertaking included acres of topsoil work, craning in a boulder field, and seeding over 1,000,000 s.f. of lawn and slopes. Plantings were executed with precision. A total of 2,500 barberrys, 300 trees, and 7,000 ornamentalgrasses were installed to create the spare, high tech landscape that completes the site of Fore System's cutting edge headquarters in Cranberry Township.
